My speech in Parliament on the year in Calwell 2018 - 6 December, 2018

I reflected in Parliament on some of the significant moments in my electorate that have made my job as the local Member enjoyable and rewarding.

The Calwell community in which I represent inspires me. It is a strong, diverse, and spirited community, a wonderful community that rises to challenges in a way that makes me proud.

This year saw changed to the Federal Seat of Calwell through redistribution of the electorate, by the Australian Electorate Commission. In saying that, I want to begin by thanking the outgoing communities in Sydenham, Taylors Lakes, the suburbs of Keilor, and Calder Park, and welcome back Craigieburn, Mt Ridley, Mickleham, Oaklands Junction, Kalkallo, Wildwood and Yuroke. It has been my honour to represent all my constituents in Federal Parliament and I look forward to continuing advocating on issues that are pertinent to them and focus on their needs here in Canberra.
